About us

We are mother-in-law (Fran) and daughter in-law (Jo) who share a love of sewing, design and fabrics. Fran is a bit of a sewing whizz, whereas I am a novice. What unites us is that we both get a kick from putting gorgeous colours and patterns together to make lovely things.

We’d like to say that this ’lil fledgling business of ours is the result of years of hard work, but the truth is, it’s the result of about five years of dithering and chatting about it - and about six months of proper work.

We’re so excited to now have the site up-and-running, and we hope that you like what you find here. If you have any comments or suggestions for us, please drop us a line. We’re friendly types and can take the criticism! In return, we want to make sure that if you order from us, you’re delighted with the choice, service, and - of course - the package of pretty things that the postman brings.
